Proverbs 14:4-6

⁴ Where there are no oxen, the barn is empty of grain,
    but abundant crops come through the strength of the ox.
⁵ A truthful witness does not lie,
    but a false witness lies incessantly.^[a]
6 In vain does a scoffer^[b] seek wisdom,
    but knowledge comes easily to the man of discernment.
